Tess Haggerty

Tess is a registered nurse and international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). Tess grew up on the Olympic peninsula in Port Angeles WA. After leaving to complete her BA in English at University of Washington and later her RN/BSN at University of Portland, she returned to the peninsula to settle and create a home in Port Townsend. Even before she became a nurse she was working with new families as a doula and women’s health advocate in Seattle WA. Tess pursued her IBCLC in 2020 while working for Jefferson Healthcare as the OB coordinator. She has been helping families with lactation on the Quimper peninsula ever since. In her spare time Tess is also a garden lover, dog momma, avid baker, exercise enthusiast, and homebody. She loves to fly fish, eat delicious food, spend time with friends, and pick flowers.
Jenn Cashin
BA, MPH, CN, IBCLC (Founder)
Jenn is an international board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), certified nutritionist and public health nutritionist. Jenn has nearly fifteen years of experience working in the field of global health, with a focus on designing programs and advocating for policies that support improved infant and young child nutrition. After 13 years living in Cambodia and Myanmar, she moved to Port Townsend with her family in 2021 and began pursuing her IBCLC certification. In 2024, Jenn completed a 120-hour lactation consultant course through the University of California San Diego along with a 300-hour clinical lactation internship at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Silverdale and Nurturing Expressions in Poulsbo. She also holds a Master of Public Health degree in International Health and Development from Tulane University. When not supporting families in Jefferson County, she enjoys swimming in the Salish Sea, reading, and spending time with her three rapidly growing children.
